for golden tinsel wrapped around the gate
and all the hardworked gifts that we stayed up late
to wrap, and put underneath the tree
remembering Jesus died and rose for me!
Oh how bright someday the gates will shine
in Heaven in Splendor of our King
for now I enjoy this tinsel of mine
and may "Joy to the earth" in us sing.
