This is a book about the story of Esther from the Bible. Through God's working and many twists and turns, a commonplace Jew becomes a queen- in a way its a modern Cinderella story. But a true one at that, and with all the realistic details that come with being queen of a king of that time.
Although I know the story and have read many books about this topic, it never gets old! I enjoyed this book a great deal and could barely put it down. Angela Hunt includes a lot of details about the time era and history going on at that time and I found that wonderful and intriguing.
Expect your faith to increase as you read this book! God has big plans even for those who feel "common"!
